Power Query editor: steps, data types and preview
Import from Excel, CSV, TXT, PDF, web, databases and SharePoint as connectors allow
Remove rows and columns, replace values, split and trim text

Unpivot reports into analysis-ready data
Grouping, aggregation and error checks

Day 2 · Sources and reports

Combine files from a folder
Append and merge with join types
Parameters for period and file location
M language basics and simple Advanced Editor changes
Load to a worksheet, connection or data model
Query refresh and maintenance practices
Build a monthly report from exports to a PivotTable

Final exercise

Build a repeatable monthly report from several exports and refresh it with a new file set.
